Alonso: Red Bull Duo Still Main Rival

Hockenheim - Ferrari, McLaren Fernando Alonso believes Lewis Hamilton and Red Bull's Mark Webber and Sebastian Vettel is his main rival in the 2012 Formula One season.

Alonso is currently leading the standings with Formula 1 world champion 13 points behind Webber and Vettel 29 points. So, in Hamilton, of Spanish nationality is the lead rider until the difference of 37 points.

"Hamilton and the two Red Bull drivers," Alonso told reporters when asked about his main rival, as reported by Autosport, Saturday (21/07/2012).

"It has not changed much, Lotus can be strong and have a good race and they are fast. But they always lose a few points. (Nico) Rosberg started to show strength and I think it may have a good season too, but it fell slightly, "former McLaren driver this light.

"So, so far, the most feared rival is Hamilton and Red Bull duo. We must see how it develops in the next race and if there are other pilots who joined the leading group," he explained.
